What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Lead engineer, you will be working within our FMCG production facility:
Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolved
Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing and process machines
Use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.
Deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs & improvements
To have overall responsibility for maintaining efficient operation of the process equipment
To ensure that other than planned downtime the processing plant is available and running at optimum levels at all times.
Ensure that the product that we produce is of the highest standard by not compromising the process plant with short term fixes What you will need to succeed:
Multi-skilled automation skills on packing equipment or equivalent
Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills
Experience of working in a FMCG environment
Some supervisory experience would be beneficial
Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working What you will receive in return:
£52,590.00 per year
