Job Purpose
You will be accountable to the Team Leader for the day-to-day running of the bookings function, ensuring operational procedures are followed, and delivering a high standard of service to customers and overseas partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your own workload efficiently to support business priorities and service levels
Handle customer and overseas agent queries promptly, ensuring clear and consistent communication
Liaise with shipping lines to arrange and amend bookings as required
Ensure all bookings match customer requirements accurately and are processed in a timely manner
Monitor and review performance across your allocated trades
Follow company procedures and maintain high operational standards at all times
Provide proactive updates to clients and overseas agents regarding shipment status, including any delays or issues
Escalate operational issues to the line manager where required
Work closely with the documentation team to ensure smooth shipment processing
