The role will involve:
• Providing 1:1 support to secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs, promoting emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Assisting the class teacher in creating a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.
• Implementing individual behaviour and learning plans.
• Encouraging social interaction, confidence and independence.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and parents to achieve the best outcomes for the pupil.
