How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the early development of learners.

In the role of Level 3, Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young children. This role is ideal for those who are committed to providing tailored, nurturing support in an inclusive environment that promotes the early learning and development of children.

We want to hear from you if you have:

    * A solid understanding of trauma-informed approaches and therapeutic behaviour support in an early years context.

    * Training in Team-Teach or other recognised behaviour intervention methods.

    * A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience, particularly in EYFS or SEN settings.

    * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with young children and their families effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Support the planning, delivery, and assessment of early learning activities, tailored to meet the individual needs of children with SEN.

    * Work collaboratively with class teachers to deliver differentiated learning and ensure that every child can access the EYFS curriculum, both indoors and outdoors.

    * Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions, supporting the development of key skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, and self-regulation.

    * Assist in the creation and implementation of individual learning plans and contribute to the development and review of EHCP outcomes.

    * Provide support during whole class sessions, ensuring that all children are engaged and included in the activities.

    * Assist in the supervision of children during outdoor play and other activities, fostering their independence and social development.

    * Offer guidance to other teaching assistants in the setting, ensuring consistency in approach and support.

    * Keep accurate records of children’s progress and contribute to regular assessments and reporting processes.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    * Have a passion for working with young children and supporting their early development, including those with SEN.

    * Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable to the individual needs of children in a Primary setting.

    * Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both children and staff.

    * Be confident in supporting children with complex needs in both one-to-one and group settings.

    * Have a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and supporting children's emotional well-being.

If you are enthusiastic about supporting children in their early years and have a strong commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, we would love to hear from you
