Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools and nurseries across Yardley and the B25 area who are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join them from September 2026.With increasing demand for specialist support, this is a great opportunity to secure a role early for the new academic year.
Your new role
In this role, you'll be supporting pupils with additional needs across primary and nursery settings. You'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.Assignments can range from short-term placements to long-term roles, with potential to continue for the full academic year.
What you'll need to succeed
Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
Have worked in schools, nurseries, or care settings
Are confident supporting pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay and challenging behaviour
Are adaptable, resilient, and committed to making a difference
Can build strong relationships with pupils and staffWhat you'll get in return
