The Role
The successful candidate will:
Take responsibility for a KS1 class from September 2026
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils across a range of abilities and learning needs
Deliver strong phonics and early literacy teaching
Create a calm, positive, and stimulating learning environment
Work closely with parallel teachers and support staff
Build strong relationships with families and the wider school communityThe specific year group can be discussed depending on the successful candidate's strengths and experience.
The Ideal Candidate
Applications are welcomed from teachers who:
Hold UK QTS
Have experience teaching in KS1 or strong KS1 teaching placements
Have a good understanding of phonics and early learning
Are warm, organised, and reflective practitioners
Have strong classroom management skills
Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to school lifeBoth ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
