Duties
* Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment, following company standards and customer requirements.
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, checking for quality and accuracy.
* Organise and store products in designated areas to maintain a neat and efficient warehouse.
* Assist with stock counts and inventory control as needed.
* Operate warehouse equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with regulations.
* Obtain quotes, place bookings for transport and record this information
* Create delivery paperwork and ensure that these are signed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety guidelines
Requirements
* Proven experience in materials handling
* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
* Basic maths skills for inventory management and documentation purposes.
* Ability to lift loads safely, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
* Experience in coordinating transport
* Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
* A valid forklift operator certification
* Good communication
Shift:
Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
Hourly pay rate: £12.82
