How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver (with an in-date FLT license, either Reach or Counterbalance, or both) to join their team as a Warehouse/FLT Operative.
    NOTE: This role is a combination of Fork Lift Truck work and general Warehouse Operative duties (you must be flexible to carry out both).
    This will be a permanent job, after completing 3 months full work via our agency (paid weekly).
    PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
    * You are happy to work both Day and Night shifts as shown below
    * You are immediately available
    * You have an in-date FLT Licence (either Counterbalance, Reach, or both), not in-house, it must be your own license
    * You have previous experience of working in a Manufacturing / Production / Factory / Logistics / Dispatch environment as an FLT Operator
    * Training in COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and manual handling is preferred, but not essential
    Salary: £16.14 per hour (this is inclusive of the shift allowance) + Overtime (if available)
    Shift pattern, Days and Nights:
    * Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, (day shift) 7am to 7pm (36 hours)
    * Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, (night shift) 7pm to 7am (24 hours)
    * Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, (day shift) 7am to 7pm, then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, (nights) 7pm to 7am (60 hours)
    * Back to week 1.

    * Robot stretch wrap & top sheet replacement
