Working Foreman

CNX Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting confidentially on behalf of a well-established and growing construction contractor for an experienced Working Foreman to join their team on a permanent basis in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected company delivering high-quality residential new builds, refurbishments, and extension projects across the Central Belt.
The Role
The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to managing residential construction projects while leading site operations and coordinating trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations on residential builds and extensions
* Manage subcontractors and site labour effectively
* Ensure works are completed to programme and specification
* Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and management teams
* Carry out quality inspections and resolve on-site issues
* Assist with site paperwork, deliveries, and scheduling
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Working Foreman within residential construction
* Strong background in house extensions, refurbishments, and domestic builds
* Ability to lead trades while remaining hands-on when required
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Valid CSCS card essential
* SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
* Full UK driving licence preferred
