Location: Doncaster

Contract: Ongoing Contract Opportunity

Shift Pattern:

Typical hours: 06:00 - 17:00
Rotation: 5 on, 4 off, 4 on, 5 off
Rotating shifts across 7 days

Average 40 hours per week
~50% weekend working
Overtime available - paid at enhanced rate for hours worked over 40

Overview

We are currently recruiting mechanically biased technicians to support overhaul and modification programmes on a modern rolling stock fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out overhaul, strip-down and rebuild activities
Perform heavy maintenance on rolling stock components
Support modification and upgrade programmes
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults
Work from technical drawings and maintenance instructions
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Accurately complete work records and documentation

Essential Requirements

Rolling stock or heavy engineering experience
Strong mechanical background
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
