Senior Estimator

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a Fit Out/ Refurbishment Construction Contractor based in the South of Glasgow. You will be joining an award winning company who complete all their projects to the highest of standards and have been a strong client portfolio in the process. Project sectors you can expect to find yourself working on include offices, hotels, industrial units, schools, hospitals and more.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of projects.

* Work closely with Estimating Manager.

* Collaborate closely with further Commercial and Operational teams.

* Oversee estimating process from initial enquiry to final submission.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

* Maintain up to date knowledge of suppliers and market rate.

* Adhere to all health safety procedures.

Required:

* Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Strong negotiation skills.

* Ability to oversee multiple tenders and deadlines.

Remuneration:

* Salary: £65-70K

* Car Allowance: £5K

* Bonus Scheme – 5% of annual salary
