Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise all night shift activities relating to dredging and marine works
* Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and site logistics to maintain programme delivery
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Monitor site progress and resolve operational issues during shift hours
* Oversee permits to work, RAMS, inductions, and general site compliance
* Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication across shifts
* Maintain accurate shift reports, progress records, and handovers for daytime management teams
* Promote safe working practices and maintain high site standards at all times
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Site Manager on marine, dredging, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures and operational management
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage works independently during night shifts
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
Salary description
£300.00 - £320.00 per year
