Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
* Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
* Installing specialist PV systems and battery storage
* Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and efficiently to minimise downtime.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installations accurately.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to coordinate work schedules and ensure project deadlines are met.
* Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
* Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential. Candidates should be organised, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high safety standards at all times.
