How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As Aftermarket Sales Director UK, you will lead and drive aftermarket sales growth across the UK, developing strategic customer relationships and securing high-value programmes across both military and commercial markets.

    This is a highly visible leadership role, forming part of the Global Leadership Team, where you will take ownership of key customer accounts, lead strategic pursuits, and deliver sustained revenue growth.

    Your Role

    Driving new business development and order intake growth across the UK aftermarket portfolio
    Leading and developing a team of 5 senior account managers
    Owning and managing key strategic customer relationships
    Leading major pursuits and proposals, including large multi-year programmes
    Identifying and developing new aftermarket opportunities across military and commercial sectors
    Acting as a senior commercial leader, influencing strategy and driving performance

    What You'll Bring

    Proven experience in aftermarket / MRO sales leadership (aerospace preferred)
    Strong track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth
    Experience managing senior sales or account management teams
    Commercial acumen with the ability to lead strategic pursuits and negotiations
    Background in aerospace, defence, or engineering environments

    You will be a driven, proactive "go-getter", comfortable challenging the status quo and pushing through barriers to win business. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to operate in a global, matrix environment are key to success.
