Position: HSE Manager  
Location: Pershore, Worcestershire (Covering 2 sites)
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a specialist assembly and manufacturing business are on the hunt for an experienced HSE Manager to join the team!

Role and Responsibilities – HSE Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing and overseeing all safe working practices across two manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will continually work to understand industry best practices and act as a champion across the business for HSE management.

Other responsibilities include:

Development of an effective and robust Occupational Health and Safety Management System
Ownership and continual development of Risk Assessments, COSHH management, Environmental Permitting, Incident Control and Emergency Preparedness procedures
Identification of training requirements and delivering of training regarding Health, Safety and the Environment  
Management of Compliance procedures including identification, reviewing updates and ensuring adequate actions are taken to comply with all relevant requirements
Experience or Qualifications – HSE Manager

NEBOSH diploma qualified or equivalent preferential
Extensive experience in leading HSE initiatives or teams with a proven record of effective change management (ideally in a standalone position)
Experience of developing or managing ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 management systems
Internal Auditor qualified
