We have an opportunity for a HGV Driver / HIAB Operator to join a leading provider of Portable cabins / Modular buildings and associated solutions. This role is responsible for the safe and effective delivery, collection, loading and unloading of modular buildings and containers to customer sites, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all transport and safety regulations.
HGV Driver / HIAB Operator role:
• Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles.
• Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites.
• Operate the HIAB crane for loading and unloading activities.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers on site.
• Report any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
Candidate requirements:
• Hold a valid HGV 1 or HGV 2 Driver licence.
• Previous HIAB / lorry loader crane operating experience is essential.
• ALLMI / lorry loader crane certification is essential.
• Good understanding of current regulations relating to EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and Driver Tachograph restrictions.
• Strong awareness of health and safety and safe loading / unloading procedures.
• Flexible and reliable approach with strong customer service skills.
