How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Support Administrator - Guildford outskirts

    £27, 000 + bonus opportunities per annum DOE

    We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Support Administrator to join a growing and fast-paced business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and ensuring every customer journey runs smoothly from start to finish.

    You’ll become an integral part of the team, helping to manage customer orders and supporting the sales process behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied position, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering a high level of service.

    No two days are the same – you’ll be involved in everything from order administration and customer communication through to coordinating deliveries and ensuring every detail is handled accurately.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Review quotations before they progress into confirmed orders, checking product compatibility and ensuring all details are accurate

    * Prepare and coordinate documentation, approvals, and custom order requests where required

    * Manage customer orders throughout the full sales journey, maintaining regular communication and updates

    * Monitor order schedules and ensure timelines align with customer expectations

    * Keep customers informed throughout the process, including delivery readiness and final stages of completion

    * Handle customer enquiries efficiently, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner

    * Liaise with internal departments and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and schedules

    * Maintain accurate records, update systems, and ensure all communication is documented appropriately

    * Support wider business operations and take on additional responsibilities as the team continues to grow

    Experience and Skills Requirements:

    * Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail

    * A methodical approach and strong administrative ability

    * Confidence following processes and managing multiple tasks simultaneously

    * Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly manner

    * The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

    * A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop

    * Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to suggest solutions

    * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

    * A full driving licence and access to your own transport is beneficial due to location
