How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Shift Patterns:
    Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 15:00–00:00 | Friday 13:00–19:00

    Flexibility to work day shift when required is essential.

    Days: Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:00 | Friday 07:00–13:00

    Are you an experienced production leader looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine progression? We are recruiting for a hands-on Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in driving production performance, team standards, and operational efficiency.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with strong leadership skills and a mechanical mindset who enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment. The role offers a clear temp-to-perm pathway, with future progression opportunities to take full ownership of the late shift operation.

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, leading a production team, and ensuring targets, quality standards, and health & safety expectations are consistently achieved. This role requires somebody who can lead by example, remain calm under pressure, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily production targets

    * Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently

    * Support production operations, including machine start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting

    * Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet deadlines

    * Handle team-related matters professionally, including performance management where required

    * Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards across the production area

    * Work closely with management to improve efficiency and productivity

    * Support a positive and accountable team culture

    * Open and close the site when required

    What We’re Looking For

    * Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or management experience within manufacturing or production

    * Strong mechanical understanding and experience working with production machinery

    * Excellent communication and leadership skills

    * Calm and professional approach under pressure

    * Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance

    * Hands-on attitude with the ability to support the wider team when needed

    * Good organisational and problem-solving abilities

    * Knowledge of biomass systems or similar production processes would be advantageous

    This role would suit somebody looking for long-term progression within a growing manufacturing environment where they can make a real impact on shift performance and team development
