Vacancy Title Technical Sales Manager- Fixings & Fastenings (Rainscreen & Cladding)- London & South
Vacancy Description We are seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Technical Sales Manager to join a well-established manufacturer of fixings and fastenings. This field-based role covers London and the South, with a strong focus on the rainscreen cladding and facade sector.
As the technical expert in the territory, you will build long-term relationships with architects, facade engineers, main contractors, and specialist cladding subcontractors, providing high-level specification support and on-site technical guidance
Key responsibilities include:
* Drive sales growth of fixings, fastenings, and rainscreen cladding systems across London and the South.
* Promote mechanical fixings, brackets, and support systems into the building envelope and rainscreen cladding sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors.
* Provide expert technical advice and solutions for facade and cladding projects.
* Conduct CFA Pull Testing on site to validate fixing performance and support specifications.
* Deliver technical presentations, CPD sessions, and value engineering proposals.
* Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to secure project specifications and bids.
* Identify and convert new project opportunities through proactive specification work.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
* Provide market intelligence on trends, competitors, and customer needs.
Requirements
* Proven technical sales experience in fixings & fastenings, rainscreen systems, cladding, or a related building envelope / construction products sector.
* CFA Pull Test trained (highly advantageous) – candidates with current or recent CFA Pull Testing certification will be prioritised.
* Strong technical knowledge of rainscreen cladding fixings, brackets, and support systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills at all levels.
* Self-motivated with proven ability to manage a large field sales territory effectively.
* Full UK driving licence.
