How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Bridging technology and care by building confident, capable clinical teams.

    Proclinical is seeking a Training Specialist to support the implementation of glucose and ketone meter solutions across healthcare settings in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region. This field-based role focuses on delivering high-quality operator training, supporting clinical teams during implementation, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The position requires close collaboration with clinical stakeholders, point-of-care testing (POCT) teams, and project personnel to deliver effective training programs that align with governance, quality, and safety standards.

    Responsibilities:

    Deliver face-to-face and remote operator training across multiple sites.
    Support implementation and rollout activities for diagnostic systems.
    Provide ongoing guidance and troubleshooting for clinical users post-go-live.
    Coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate records.
    Conduct competency assessments and facilitate user sign-off processes.
    Build strong relationships with ward teams, POCT teams, and stakeholders.
    Ensure training activities comply with governance and safety standards.
    Support change management and user adoption in diverse clinical environments.

    Key Skills and Requirements:

    Experience delivering healthcare or diagnostic training.
    Proven track record in implementation or rollout within healthcare settings.
    Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
    Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
    Proficiency with digital training tools and systems.
    Full UK driving license.
    Must live in or near Glasgow.

    Desirable:

    Experience in Point of Care Testing (POCT).
    Familiarity with Diagnostics solutions.
    Background in NHS hospital or community healthcare settings.
    Nursing, biomedical science, or healthcare training experience.
