This role would suit a motivated Junior Vehicle Technician or recently qualified Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance student or similar, who is eager to develop their skills, learn from experienced engineers, and build a long-term career within the automotive and plant industry.
In this role, the successful candidate will support the workshop team with servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections across a range of fleet vehicles and plant equipment while receiving ongoing training and development.
The Role:
Supporting servicing, maintenance, and repair work on fleet vehicles and plant
Equipment
Assisting with diagnostics, inspections, and fault finding
Working on brakes, suspension, clutches, and general vehicle maintenance
Learning from experienced technicians and developing technical skills
Occasional support with off-site maintenance work
Opportunities for overtime, training, and progressionThe Person:
Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or similar
College leaver or junior technician background
Passion for automotive or plant engineering
Full UK Driving Licence preferred
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
