How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant - KS1 & KS2

    Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, West London
    Pay: £110 - £125 per day
    Start Date: ASAP
    Contract: Long-Term | Full-Time

    Long Term Futures are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham, supporting pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with ASD and ADHD.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing and well-resourced school environment. The role is long-term with the potential for progression and teacher training opportunities in the future.

    About the Role

    As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support for pupils with Autism (ASD) and ADHD. You will support children both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to engage with learning, regulate emotions, and build confidence socially and academically.

    The role will involve supporting children across KS1 and KS2, so adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude are essential.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD on a 1:1 and small-group basis
    Helping children remain engaged and focused during lessons
    Assisting with emotional regulation and social development
    Supporting differentiated learning activities across KS1 and KS2
    Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
    Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviourAbout the School
