How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist - Fixed Term until July 2027

    Location: Grays, Thurrock
    Contract: Fixed Term until July 2027
    Salary: £95-£110 per day

    An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Grays is seeking a passionate and dedicated Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join their brand-new Autism Resource Base, which will grow to accommodate up to 10 children. The provision will be led by an experienced specialist teacher, and you will be supported by the Base Manager and a highly collaborative SEN team.

    This is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping a new resource base, working closely with pupils with autism to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

    The Role:

    Provide tailored ABA support to pupils with autism within a small resource base setting.
    Work closely with the Base Manager, specialist teacher, and wider SEN team to deliver high-quality interventions.
    Support children to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
    Assist in creating an engaging, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
    Receive on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.The Ideal Candidate:

    Experience working with children with ASD and knowledge of ABA approaches (desirable but not essential).
    A passion for supporting children with additional needs and a drive to make a real difference.
    Patience, resilience, and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
