C&I Wire Person / Panel Builder – Contract Opportunity

Ceto Talent is representing a leading nuclear research project, supporting advanced control & instrumentation systems within a highly technical engineering environment.

* Location: Culham, Oxfordshire (full-time onsite)

* Contract: 12 months

* Rate: Up to £26.00 per hour (Umbrella)

* IR35: Inside

This role will support a major nuclear research facility, working across a wide range of control & instrumentation systems. You will be involved in both workshop-based panel building and on-plant electrical engineering activities, including installation, testing and fault finding.

Key responsibilities:

* Wiring and building control & instrumentation panels, cubicles and sub-assemblies

* Fault finding and repair of control & instrumentation systems across plant

* Supporting commissioning, testing and upgrades of electrical engineering systems

* Working closely with engineers and plant teams on live control & instrumentation systems

* Producing and maintaining technical documentation and safe systems of work

Requirements:

* Apprentice trained with industrial experience working on 3-phase electrical engineering systems

* Experience as a C&I wire person, panel builder or within control & instrumentation

* Strong fault-finding and testing capability (bench and in-situ)

* C&G Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology or ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
