Working within a highly automated manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in ensuring production operates efficiently by minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximise performance and output.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Moulding department in achieving KPI targets by ensuring all equipment is maintained and production-ready at all times
Providing technical expertise and engineering support to moulding engineers and technicians across all aspects of the moulding process
Coordinating and managing all maintenance activities relating to moulding machinery and associated ancillary equipment
Identifying, proposing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring all pre- and post-improvement data is accurately captured to evaluate effectiveness
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will have:
A high level of knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance of injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment
Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems and scheduling
Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Relevant engineering qualifications
