How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

    📍 Glasgow, Scotland
    💰 Up to £46,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing FM and Building Services business covering the Central Belt of Scotland.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role with a well-established company offering long-term progression, support, and a strong work-life balance.

    The Role

    The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial sites.

    You will work on a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment while ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance are maintained.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems

    * Attending reactive breakdowns and fault-finding across commercial sites

    * Servicing and repairing split systems, VRVs, VRFs, and associated plant

    * Completing compliance paperwork and service reports accurately

    * Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations

    * Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships

    * Supporting minor installation and remedial works where required

    About You

    * Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer

    * F-Gas qualification essential

    * Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance

    * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

    * Full UK driving licence required

    * Good communication and customer-facing skills
