How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Purpose:


    Working closely with the Production Merchandising team and wider business, you will play a key role in planning, developing and trading commercially successful product ranges tailored to the target customer. The successful candidate will help shape and maintain a strong brand positioning, ensuring collections not only align with the brand vision but also drive sales performance and exceed expectations. Managing the critical path and full product lifecycle, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure products are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard, supporting the smooth and consistent growth of the brand.


    The Company:


    A leading UK-based manufacturer specialising in the development, formulation, and supply of fine fragrance, as well as a wide range of health, beauty, and personal care products.


    Responsibilities:


    • Manage UK & Far East suppliers to ensure smooth product delivery and supply chain performance.
    • Negotiate costs and margins while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
    • Lead product and packaging development from concept to delivery.
    • Work cross-functionally with design, sales, logistics, warehouse and accounts teams.
    • Maintain critical paths, project trackers, orders and shipment schedules accurately.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new product opportunities.
    • Build strong relationships with brands and key accounts.
    • Support junior team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
    • Ensure accurate management of purchase orders, customer requirements and production updates.
    • Take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion.



    Skills, qualifications and experience:

    • Degree level education or equivalent experience, ideally within fashion, product or a related field.
    • Strong commercial awareness with confident numerical and negotiation skills.
    • Good understanding of margin impact, product decisions and trading performance.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
    • Strong knowledge of the retail market, fashion trends and brand positioning in the UK and internationally.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly organised with the ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and support others effectively.
