About the Role:
In this role, you’ll take ownership of on-site electrical teams delivering solar PV and battery storage installations. Beyond day-to-day supervision, you’ll help shape a positive team environment, uphold strict safety standards, and contribute to improving how projects are delivered.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing and supporting site-based electrical personnel, including qualified electricians, trainees, and subcontract partners
* Championing safe working practices and ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and internal procedures
* Overseeing installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar and battery systems
* Carrying out site audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks
* Spotting opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency on-site
* Feeding back insights from completed projects to strengthen future delivery
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical electrical issues when they arise
* Tracking labour and material usage to support cost management
* Collaborating with project teams to keep delivery aligned with timelines and budgets
Skills & Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience supervising electrical installations or teams
* Practical experience with solar PV and/or battery storage systems
* Qualified 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Qualified Electrician
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to track and manage on-site costs
* Full UK driving licence
