We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Lecturer to join a college in Romford on an hourly paid basis. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons to learners within a Further Education setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching across GCSE and Functional Skills English
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons that support learner progress and achievement
* Assess and monitor student performance, providing constructive feedback
* Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to a positive learning environment
* Support students to achieve their academic goals
Requirements:
* Previous experience teaching within Further Education (FE)
* Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills English
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new DBS
* Relevant teaching qualification desirable
