How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you an experienced event professional who thrives on delivering exceptional experiences for global brands?

We’re partnering with a fast-growing boutique B2B events agency that delivers strategic, creative and production-led experiences across the UK, Europe and the US. Working with clients across sectors including technology, finance, legal and automotive, the team is trusted to deliver flagship activations, leadership summits, retreats and high-impact experiential campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Event Manager to take ownership of complex, high-profile projects from pitch through to flawless execution while working alongside ambitious clients and a collaborative, high-performing team.

    The Role

As Senior Event Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of world-class events across international markets. This is a highly client-facing role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, balancing strategic thinking with meticulous execution.

You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with UK and US-based clients, suppliers and production partners to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.

This role would suit an experienced events professional who is confident taking full ownership of projects, leading client relationships and mentoring junior team members within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

    Key Responsibilities include;

    Event Project Management…

Lead the end-to-end delivery of events from initial brief and concept development through to onsite execution and post-event evaluation

Drive strategic pitch responses and contribute to new business opportunities

Manage multiple international projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

    Client Relationship Management…

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the UK and US

Lead client calls, manage expectations and provide clear, proactive communication throughout project lifecycles

Adapt confidently to different client styles, priorities and working practices

    Budget & Timeline Ownership...

Create, manage and reconcile event budgets

Maintain full ownership of project timelines, ensuring all milestones are delivered on schedule

Monitor project profitability and supplier costs effectively

    Logistics & Production Coordination…

Lead venue sourcing, supplier management and production coordination

Negotiate with vendors and oversee international supplier relationships

Develop detailed show flows, briefing packs and run-of-show documentation

    Onsite Delivery & Team Leadership

Travel internationally to support onsite event delivery when required

Remain calm and solutions-focused in high-pressure environments

Mentor and support junior team members, leading by example and fostering team confidence

We’re looking for someone who combines exceptional organisation with commercial awareness, emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for live events.

The right candidate for this role will have 4+ years’ experience in event and project management within a professional environment.

Proven experience delivering end-to-end events from pitch through to execution

Strong experience managing UK and US clients, with exposure to international events

Confidence leading client relationships and running stakeholder meetings independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong production knowledge and familiarity with AV terminology

Experience using project and budget management platforms such as Monday, Procim or similar

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously

Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours calls and international travel

Starting salary £48,000 – £55,000 dependant upon skills and experience. There is an achievable annual performance bonus of up to 10%, paid quarterly. This role is hybrid working (minimum two days per week in the London office) and there is an impressive benefits list in addition bonus.
