We are looking for candidates who are confident supporting classroom learning, delivering intervention work, and helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The role may involve supporting whole-class learning, small-group intervention sessions, and providing additional support to pupils who require extra guidance within the classroom.
The Role:
* Supporting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities
* Delivering targeted intervention sessions in core subjects
* Assisting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and phonics development
* Supporting classroom routines and behaviour management
* Encouraging pupil engagement and participation in lessons
* Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
Requirements:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar education-based qualification/training
* Must have recent experience working within a UK primary school within the last 2 years
* Good understanding of the primary curriculum
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
* Passion for supporting children's learning and development
