How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Auto-Dialler Specialist Engineer

    Marmon Lift Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Auto-Dialler Specialist Engineer to join a growing lift engineering company. This is a highly technical role focused on supporting lift engineers and customers with lift autodialler systems, GSM communication products, and emergency lift communication equipment across London and the South East.

    This opportunity would suit a technically strong Lift Engineer or Communication Engineer with experience in lift autodiallers, fault finding, installation, and customer technical support. The role combines telephone-based technical support with on-site installation and commissioning work across customer sites.

    Commutable from: Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Brentwood, Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, Stratford, Rainham, Basildon, London

    The Auto-Dialler Specialist Engineer Role:

    *

    Provide expert technical support for lift communication and autodialler systems to engineers and customers

    *

    Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and assist with programming, commissioning, and product configuration

    *

    Install and commission autodiallers, GSM units, intercoms, and emergency communication systems across London and the South East

    *

    System testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and correct operation

    *

    Deliver on-site and remote technical guidance while maintaining high levels of customer service

    *

    Work closely with internal teams and independently manage installation work

    Ideal Auto-Dialler Specialist Engineer Candidate:

    *

    Currently working within the lift industry as a Lift Engineer, Communication Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer

    *

    NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering

    *

    Strong knowledge of lift autodiallers, GSM systems, emergency communication equipment, or lift electronics

    *

    Experience providing technical support and fault-finding within the lift industry

    *

    Background in lift service, installation, repair, or commissioning

    *

    Confident communicator, comfortable providing technical support over the phone

    *

    Full UK Driving Licence.
