Tradewind Recruitment are supporting one of their partnership primary schools based in the Wimbledon, Merton area, to find a calm but engaging 1:1 Teaching Assistant for one of their KS1 pupils with severe ADHD.
This is a beautiful, large primary school with an excellent reputation in the area. Due to the wonderful reputation the school has, they are consistently over-subscribed with pupils every year - testament to the schools great culture.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil in KS1
Be confident to support SEND, including ADHD and Emotional Dysregulation
Remain calm and composed for the child to promote learning
Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support plan
Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the child
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Calm, Patient, Enthusiatic (desired to have interest in sports)
Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion
Confident supporting ADHD
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Available Monday to Friday
