How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Integrated Programme Specialist role is critical to supporting upcoming transmission projects by ensuring robust, fully integrated construction programmes across multiple complex delivery packages.

    The Role

Reporting to a Deputy Project Director, the Integrated Programme Specialist will be responsible for the integration, management, and optimisation of the overall project programme across multiple disaggregated work packages, including:

    • Design
    • Earthworks
    • Buildings
    • HVDC Converter Technology
    • HVDC Cable Systems
    • AC Substations

The role works closely with Project Management, Planning, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to deliver a best‑in‑class, NEC3‑compliant integrated construction programme for each HVDC Hub.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Take a leading role within the Delivery Team, providing technical programme integration expertise across multi‑disciplinary packages.
    • Support the Planning team in developing, maintaining, and optimising the integrated construction programme.
    • Ensure all package interfaces are clearly defined, managed, and reflected across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
    • Play a pivotal role during pre‑construction phases, ensuring supply chain partners provide robust, realistic, and NEC3‑compliant programmes.
    • Scrutinise and challenge supply chain programmes, including 4D digital rehearsals.
    • Optimise the critical path and identify opportunities to reduce programme duration while maintaining constructability.
    • Maintain the accuracy of the integrated programme throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Undertake detailed programme analysis, including assessment of change events and time impact analysis.
    • Support administration of NEC3 call‑off contracts, including change control, delay assessment, and contractor claims.
    • Actively manage programme risk and identify opportunities to realise efficiencies.
    • Collaborate closely with Planners, Project Managers, Commercial teams, site management, and framework supply chain partners to ensure requirements are met.

    Skills & Experience Required

    • Proven experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects within a multi‑contract or disaggregated delivery model.
    • Background in roles such as Delivery Planner, Construction Manager, Interface Manager, or similar programme‑focused position.
    • Strong, hands‑on experience using Primavera P6 on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
    • Experience with 4D digital programming and related tools is highly desirable.
    • In‑depth understanding of NEC3 contract planning requirements, including delay analysis, compensation events, and claims management.
    • Extensive experience across pre‑construction and construction phases of HVDC Converter stations or similarly complex building/infrastructure projects.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and integrate interfaces across design, civil works, buildings, and OEM packages.

    Personal Attributes

    • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills, both internal and external.
    • Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a strong ‘can‑do’ attitude.
    • Comfortable working in complex, fast‑paced project environments with multiple interfaces and dependencies.
