How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project Manager required for a Tier 1 contractor who supply critical power to Data Centres within the UK and Europe.

    Mechanical & Electrical / Engineering background is essential as well as experience of working with Generators

    This Tier 1 Contractor is growing supplier of innovative power solutions for data centres, AI infrastructure and leading organisations in the UK and Europe.

    They specialise in all aspects of design, planning, implementation, and continuing maintenance.

    The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering multiple projects from handover to completion without requirement for on-site supervision. This role focuses on coordinating teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful project outcomes through digital collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

    Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules

    Coordinate cross-functional teams and assign tasks

    Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed

    Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation

    Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

    Communicate regularly with stakeholders and senior management

    Lead meetings, status updates, and reporting

    Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

    Maintain accurate documentation and project records

    Requirements

    Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as:

    Microsoft Project

    Asana

    SharePoint

    Proscope

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role

    Strong organisational and time management skills

    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

    Proficiency in digital collaboration tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    Project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP (Project Management Professional)

    Experience in a similar industry (Power Generation / Technology / M&E)
