Section Engineer

We are working with a highly respected specialist engineering and infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a Section Engineer for their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Section Engineer to join a well-established business delivering a range of structural, civil engineering, and maintenance projects across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site delivery, ensuring engineering works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. As the Section Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Supporting the delivery of civil engineering and structural projects on site
* Setting out and ensuring works are completed accurately and to design specifications
* Managing site engineering activities and providing technical support to site teams
* Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety procedures
* Assisting with quality control, inspections, and site documentation
* Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth delivery

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience in a Section Engineer or similar site engineering role
* Strong understanding of construction methods, setting out, and engineering principles
* Proficiency with surveying equipment and technical drawings
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and accuracy
