JOB OPPORTUNITY – GENERAL OPERATIVE / FLT COUNTERBALANCE
📍 Location: Redditch
We are currently recruiting for a General Operative / FLT Counterbalance Operator to join a well-established chemical manufacturing company in Redditch.
💷 Pay Rates:
*
£12.71 per hour
*
£16.23 per hour (FLT role dependent)
🕒 Working Hours:
*
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
*
Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Lates available:
*
Monday to Thursday: 3:45pm – 2:00am
🔧 Role Overview:
This is a hands-on production role within a chemical manufacturing environment, supporting day-to-day operations including packing, bottling, labelling, and FLT support.
📋 Key Responsibilities:
*
Packing finished goods from the production line
*
Bottling and labelling products accurately
*
Supporting general manufacturing tasks
*
Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks (license must be in date)
*
Loading, unloading, and moving stock safely
*
Following strict Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
*
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
About You:
*
Previous manufacturing/production experience preferred
*
Must hold a valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence
*
Comfortable working in a chemical environment
*
High attention to detail
*
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
