How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative design team across the full development lifecycle — from requirements definition and specification through to implementation, integration, and verification.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Analyse system requirements and contribute to FPGA solution development.

    * Produce technical specifications and break designs into manageable development tasks.

    * Develop module-level architectures and detailed design documentation.

    * Implement RTL designs while considering constraints such as timing, power, area, and overall performance.

    * Perform module and system-level verification activities.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    * Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

    * Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies.

    * Experience in RTL development using VHDL and/or Verilog.

    * Familiarity with FPGA simulation, synthesis, and implementation tools.

    * Understanding of FPGA development workflows and verification techniques.

    * Practical FPGA development experience.

    Additional Information:

    * Competitive salary and benefits package.

    * Flexible and hybrid working arrangements available.

    * Applicants must be based in the UK and eligible to obtain relevant security clearance.

Join a team where your ideas directly influence cutting-edge digital hardware solutions and where you’ll gain hands-on experience across the complete FPGA and ASIC development lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to accelerate their technical growth, work on challenging projects, and collaborate with experienced industry professionals in a flexible and supportive environment
