How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Glasgow | Design-Led Employee-Owned Practice

    £40,000 - £48,000 depending on experience

A rare opportunity has arisen to join one of Scotland’s most respected and design-led architectural practices.

They are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to play a key role in the technical delivery of a nationally significant flagship healthcare project, working across RIBA stages 4 and 5 within a collaborative and technically focused environment.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects that genuinely make a difference, within a studio known for its strong design culture, technical excellence, and people-first approach.

    Why this role stands out

This employee-owned practice has a strong reputation for delivering impactful projects across healthcare, education, commercial, and public sectors.

They have built a culture focused on collaboration, creativity, sustainability, and professional development. You’ll be joining a supportive multidisciplinary team where ideas are valued, professional growth is encouraged, and technical quality matters at every stage.

    The role

    You will:

Lead and coordinate technical delivery across RIBA stages 4–5.

Produce and manage detailed drawing packages and specifications.

Coordinate architectural information within a wider integrated design team.

Work closely with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Support BIM coordination and technical compliance.

Assist with site delivery, technical queries, and construction-stage coordination.

Contribute to the successful delivery of a nationally significant healthcare project.

    What they’re looking for

Experienced Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician

    Strong technical and construction knowledge.

Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA stages 4–5.

    Revit proficiency essential.

Experience working within BIM Level 2 environments.

Healthcare project experience beneficial but not essential.

Strong understanding of Building Regulations and technical standards.

    Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions.

    Why Join

    ✔ Employee-Owned Trust.

    ✔ Strong design-led culture.

    ✔ High-profile healthcare projects.

✔ Structured professional development and mentoring.

    ✔ Collaborative studio environment.

✔ Private healthcare, pension & wellbeing support.

    ✔ Flexible working culture.

    ✔ Genuine career progression opportunities.

If you’re looking for a role where technical excellence, collaboration, and impactful projects genuinely matter, this is well worth a conversation.
