Accounts Senior

Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working a modern and forward thinking accountancy practice in Gateshead to recruit an Accounts Senior on a permanent basis.

LOCATION: Gateshead

SALARY: Competitive (Depending on Experience)

HOURS: Mon -Fri (Flexible with no start and finish time)

JOB OVERVIEW:

My client provides first-class tax and accounting services to individuals, owner-managed businesses and SME clients. They also provide expert compliance and advisory services.

They’re entering a significant period of growth and looking for a forward thinking Accounts Senior to join their team. Who is ambitious, a team player who wants to progress their career long term within a rapidly expanding business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Processing client data efficiently to support accurate accounts preparation

* Producing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLPs and Limited Companies

* Preparing budgets, management accounts and forecast reports where required

* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns

* Providing professional, friendly client support and building trusted relationships

* Mentoring junior members of staff

To be considered for this opportunity you will:

* Either be newly qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience (AAT / ACCA / ACA or similar)

* Have experience working in an accountancy practice

* Have great attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude

* Enjoy both working independently and collaborating within a small team

* Are highly organised and confident using Excel

* Want to be part of something growing and help shape the growth of the business
