You'll work closely with the CEO, COO and trustees, providing clear financial insight while ensuring the organisation remains compliant within a regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
Lead the overall financial management of the organisation
Prepare and present clear financial reports to the Board of Trustees
Manage annual budgets and maintain a rolling 5‑year financial plan
Oversee year‑end accounts and manage external audits
Act as Company Secretary, ensuring regulatory and governance compliance
Lead and support the Finance and Governance Manager
Support funding activity such as, attending funder meetings, contributing to funding bids and producing financial reports for funders
Actively support the work of the senior leadership team, including advising on strategy through financial lensWho we are looking for:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Previous experience in a senior finance role within a regulated environment
Strong technical knowledge across budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Confident presenting financial information to senior stakeholders and boards
Experience managing audits and complex financial compliance requirements
Commercially minded, with the ability to add value beyond the numbers
Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating closely with senior leaders

Salary of £50,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
