How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Quality document administrator – FAIRs, PPAP, CoP - Oxon – 6 months FTC

    Based in Eynsham, we are a supplier of precision metallic and composite parts to the aerospace and defence industries. We hold some cool IP and have a keen order book for low-volume, complex parts.

    We are thus seeking someone for a direct 6-month FTC to join the team on-site. The role is 5 days per week, normal office hours.

    Please note that although the technical content of this role can be trained, we do require someone with either previous technical administration experience, or someone with an engineering qualification - eg degree – seeking an opportunity to work within a progressive engineering company within the Quality engineering function, learning about inspection, drawing tolerances, FAIRS and CoP documentation

    Because of the urgent requirement of this role, we are seeking someone available within 4 weeks who does not require sponsorship for 6 months

    What you will do:

    * Provide administrative support for the Quality department. Specifically, this entails completing and recording data on FAIRS, ISIR, PPAP and APQP documents.

    * Ensuring legible and on-time completion of documents, checking data provided.

    * Working with data providers, communicating needs and timing.

    * Turning CMM data into information and finished documents

    * Recording and archiving.

    * Maintain timing plans and keep stakeholders updated of progress and data required

    What you will need:

    Either,

    * Administration experience within a technical/engineering environment. Or

    * Understanding of Engineering or Quality systems principles eg recent graduate/HNC

    * Competent IT skills.

    * Good standard of spoken and written English

    Desirable:

    * Previous experience working with engineering stakeholders

    * Understanding of Quality documentation such as FAIRS, ISIR, PPAP, dimensional data, MS Project

    What you will get:

    * 6-month FTC with client

    * FTE equiv to 28-38K p.a
