Job Summary for a Stores Operative:
· To work within a stores environment carrying out goods receiving, putting away to locations, paperwork generation, picking kits and supporting production.
· To maintain FIFO
· To support and work within the Despatch area.
· To ensure processes and procedures are followed.
· To participate in the Perpetual Inventory schedule.
· To ensure housekeeping inside and outside is maintained to an acceptable standard.
· To ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are maintained.
· To work as part of team supporting and being supportive of colleagues.
Knowledge and skills required:
· Computer literate using data base, EXCEL, and other relevant software
· FLT licence is essential
· Planning and organisation of self and others
· Self motivated, and able to work under own initiative
· Self disciplined and target driven
· Warehouse experience (pick and kitting operational experience beneficial)
· Problem solving skills
