How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Product Design Coordinator
    Salary: Competitive
    Position: Full Time / 8:30 – 17:00

    The Opportunity
    As part of our ongoing expansion, the opportunity has arisen to join our team in Daventry Northamptonshire. Working as a key part of the in-house design team, this role is to coordinate product design projects and tasks.
    The Person
    We are looking for someone who is very organised, ideally from a product design / engineering background with experience in project management and SolidWorks. If you have experience or qualifications in this field or similar, please get in contact.
    Key Duties
    * Experience checking and approving engineering drawings
    * Project management and assigning tasks
    * Ensuring processes are efficient and projects are completed in a timely manner
    * Sourcing and arranging quotes
    * Product management – Testing. Certification. Intellectual property. Data. QC. Compliance.
    * Collaborating with product design team members and sales team on projects
    * Provide product support to colleagues and customers
    Requirements
    * From a product design / mechanical / engineering background with project management / coordination skills, ideally with SolidWorks experience
    * Excellent team working and communication skills
    * Must be able to use initiative, suggest ideas and improvements to products
    * Self-motivated, organised multi-tasker that enjoys a varied workload
    * A good understanding of product design and manufacturing processes
    * Excellent spelling and grammar with a meticulous attention to detail
    * Competent using PCs and Windows
    Desirable but Non-Essential Skills
    * Experience with sheet metal / fabrications
    * Previous experience with a PDM system (training given)
