As the first point of contact for customers, you will be the voice of the business - handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring every interaction is professional, empathetic, and efficient. From processing orders and quotations to managing more complex service cases, you will play a key role in shaping positive customer experiences and driving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and online portals
Handle service and spare parts requests efficiently and accurately
Prepare, track, and manage quotations and customer orders
Monitor order progress and keep customers informed of delivery timelines
Proactively identify and resolve potential delays or issues
Collaborate with other internal departments.
Record customer feedback and non-conformances to support continuous improvement
Manage service cases from creation through to successful resolution
Escalate complex or unresolved issues in line with internal procedures
Measure customer satisfaction and contribute ideas to enhance service quality
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a customer service, order management, or service support role
Confidence handling customer enquiries across multiple communication channels
Experience preparing quotations, processing orders, and tracking fulfilment
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience using CRM systems and IT tools such as Salesforce, SAP, or Microsoft Office
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer‑focused and empathetic approach, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, along with experience in customer service or order processing environments, familiarity with CRM and order‑tracking systems, and ideally relevant training or qualifications in customer service, business administration, or a related field.
