The Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Working closely with teaching staff, you will ensure that laboratories are well-prepared, safe, and fully equipped to inspire learning.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for science lessons
Support teachers during practical experiments where required
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all health and safety standards are met
Manage and organise stock, including ordering and monitoring supplies
Assist with the development of practical resources to enhance the curriculumRequirements
Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge across the sciences
A relevant degree is preferred
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
