Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the vibrant borough of Lewisham, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full-time, long-term position for the full academic year, with full classroom responsibilities. The successful candidate will be paid in line with the Inner London pay scale from day one, reflecting experience and qualifications. There is also strong potential for the role to become permanent for the right teacher.

The Role:

Full-time Key Stage 1 class teacher
Planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities included
Delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support where needed
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parentsThe School:

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management skills
