About the Role
As Receptionist, you will be the central point of contact for the school office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering high-quality administrative support. You will work closely with senior leadership and administrative teams to maintain effective communication and accurate pupil data systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the main reception area and greeting visitors in a professional manner
* Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently
* Maintaining accurate pupil and attendance records
* Supporting admissions and pupil data processes
* Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
* Providing general administrative support to the school office team
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience working in a school or busy office environment
* Proven experience using school management information systems, specifically:
* SIMS
* BROMCOM
* ARBOR
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* A professional, approachable, and discreet manner
Salary description
£15.00 - £18.00 per hour
