How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Warehouse Manager

    £45,000 basic plus Bonus Scheme (50-55OTE)

    A growing brand management and distributor of premium appliances are looking for a Warehouse Manager to come in spearhead the warehouse operation. This offers an exciting opportunity to work in an established warehouse team, focused on delivering best-in-class service to a broad customer base, in a variety of product categories.

    Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Manager:

    * Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching stock, storage and inventory control

    * Continuous review of warehouse processes to maximise efficiency and adapt for an evolving product portfolio

    * Take a lead on projects to advance the capabilities of our warehouse operation

    * Play key role in scoping and implementing our new WMS

    * Work with Operations Team Leader and Logistics Manager to ensure all customer SLA’s are adhered to in all warehouse areas; goods in, goods out, inventory and returns

    * Implement KPI system and monitor effectively

    * Responsible for stock integrity, implementing regular stock checks as well as planning the annual stock take process

    * Lead site H&S, with continuous improvements and adherence to relevant regulations

    * Site responsible, ensure our building, security and fire systems are maintained to the highest standards

    * Develop and progress team members, in line with company philosophy

    * Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation

    Key Skills for the Warehouse Manager:

    * Strong leadership and team management skills

    * Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

    * Experience working with warehouse management systems preferred

    * Experience in working with dangerous goods preferred

    * Attention to detail and accuracy

    * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    * Effective communication skills

    Working Hours for the Warehouse Manager : 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday days.
