Are you a qualified English teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to work across a variety of welcoming secondary schools in Ashford from September through to December 2026 in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
Adapt teaching approaches to suit different classroom environments and student needs
Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback
Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere
Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing standards are upheld at all times What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in English
Adaptability and confidence across different school settings
A commitment to inspiring and engaging students
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references
